LED encapsulation is a dispense process of covering or coating LED devices with a material (epoxy resins, organic-inorganic nanocomposite, or organic silicone resins) to protect devices from environmental factors (thermal stability), mechanical stress, aging resistance and more.
LED encapsulation is also used to improve optical performance of LEDs by enhancing color quality, beam shaping and light output.
