PCD: Positive Cavity Displacement
for Total Fluid Control

Volumetric dispensing for ALL your dosing requirements

GPD Global PCD showing Total Fluid Control with water

Viscous fluids are delivered to the substrate via Luer nozzles and performance excels when using GPD Global S Taper tips. The metering technique is not affected by variations in temperature or reservoir pressure, thereby improving day-to-day and start-to-finish process results. PCD for Tabletop Operations

In side-by-side tests, PCD significantly improved throughput and lowered cycle times compared with auger and jetting dispense methods. Micro dispensing down to 1nl is possible while retaining the ability to dispense beads or area fills.

Unique progressive cavity dispense technology can meter high and low viscosity fluids with ±1% repeatability. PCD Technology is compatible with materials used in electronics assembly such as epoxies, thermal greases, underfills, oils, silicones, and UV encapsulants, as well as materials outside the electronics industry.
