Model PBFTVS.USB700 includes a Tape Peel Back Force Tester with GPD Global's FORCEWare software and SPC for Windows 7 Pro, Windows XP Pro, or Windows Vista Pro / Ultimate operating system for use on a desktop or notebook computer utilizing USB specification 2.0.

PBFT VS SPC Software: FORCEWare Software^

FORCEWare software is both the operating system and SPC Software Package used with the PBFT856VS and Windows software packages.

Test Graph

When a peel back force test begins, its progress displays on the test graph. Upon test completion, specific and summary data are displayed in a Test Results window.

SPC Data

One to five filters or a combination of filters may be selected when collecting SPC data. The filters selected determine the type of test data results displayed and printed. Many different graph forms can then be generated.

PBFT USB Upgrade Kits

It's EASY to bring an older PBFT up to speed with the latest version of PBFT O/S (FORCEWare software). For less than 40% of the cost of a new PBFT you can upgrade your FORCEWare software to the newest, most powerful version. Just plug the kit hardware into your PBFT and PC, load the new FORCEWare software, and you're done!

Select the upgrade kit that fits your cable connector or select kit PN PBT-118-4 because it includes all possible cable options. All kits include USB hardware, the latest version of FORCEWare Software on CD, the latest version of PBFT SPC/FORCEWare Documentation on CD, and the cabling noted below:

Strain Gauge Verification Kit

Use the Strain Gauge Verification Kit (PN PBT-107) to determine if your strain gauge is operating within the calibration tolerance range. A statement of accuracy accompanies each weight in the kit. (Use of the kit does not change how the strain gauge operates.) The verification procedure is detailed in PBFT Strain Gauge Verification Kit Instructions.

Strain Gauge Retrofit Kit

Use the Strain Gauge Retrofit Kit (PN PBT-0110) to replace either an X-3234 or nonfunctioning strain gauge with the 10/4052 strain gauge. Detailed instructions are included in the PBFT Strain Gauge Retrofit Kit Procedure.
